Resolution R-25-023 – Setting Polling Places for the 2026 and 2027 Elections

Sample Ballots are precinct specific and will not be available until late September. Once available, Sample Ballots may be obtained in the Clerk's Office, at early and election day polling places, or viewed online at nmvote.org. When viewing online at the link provided, select "Find my Registration & Election Information". You will enter your name, year of birth, and select Chaves County. On the left side, you will see "My Sample Ballot". 

Early Voting at the Chaves County Clerk’s Office, Area D, #1 St. Mary’s Place, Roswell, NM 
Tuesday, October 6 - Saturday, October 31 
8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday.
Saturday voting begins October 17, from 10:00am - 6:00pm. Closed on Sundays.

Early Voting at the Roswell Mall – 4501 N. Main, Roswell, NM

(Located next to Bath & Body Works)
Saturday, October 17 - Saturday, October 31
10:00am - 6:00pm, Monday - Saturday. Closed on Sundays.

Early Voting at Dexter Central Office – 100 N. Lincoln, Dexter, NM 
Tuesday, October 20 - Thursday, October 29
8:00am - 5:00pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays only.

Early Voting at Hagerman Joy Center – 503 E. Argyle, Hagerman, NM

Election Day is November 3, 2026 - Polls Open 7:00am - 7:00pm
Chaves County voters may vote at any election day polling place in Chaves County.
